The goal is to throw a frisbee toward a metal basket in as few throws as possible, similar to how traditional golf aims to get the ball into the hole with the fewest strokes. What’s great about disc golf is how easy it is to get started. All you need are a few discs, which often come in different types like "driver," "midrange," and "putter" for different kinds of throws. Courses are spread across the country, often in scenic parks or forested areas, and the sport is free to play on most courses.

Disc golf is suitable for all ages, and its popularity has grown in recent years. It’s a fun way to stay active, enjoy nature, and engage in friendly competition with friends or family.
