Traudalsnibba
At the top of Traudalsnibba, you get a nice view of Sandane.
After parking at Ryggjastøylen pasture farm, walk on a forest road towards Traudalsvatnet lake. Turn left over Geitebrua bridge before you get to the lake.
Shortly afterwards, the trail to Nibba branches off to the left and continues steeply up the hillside. The trail becomes slightly flatter above the treeline. You then continue towards Botnen but turn right up to Nibba/Nibbehytta cabin just before you come to the lake. The trail then follows the ridge all the way to the top and

There are some wet areas initially, but the trail gets drier as you start the ascent. The first part takes you through a forest, before you come up into the mountains and can enjoy great views. Hikers can visit or stay overnight in the cabin at the top, which was built by the organisation 4H.
At the top, you really get a sense of how high up you are!
If there’s no snow, you can continue the hike to Svarthammaren.
