Not sure which tour to choose? Wall of Witches Light is the one for you! Let us take you on the perfect Via Ferrata tour for everyone wanting to get the full experience, without too much challenge.

The tour starts by walking along the fjord to the start of our introduction wall, Eagle’s Hill. Here, you put on the climbing equipment and get an extensive briefing from the guide. This part of the route is the ideal way to get acquainted with the equipment and to Via Ferrata climbing.

After you climbed the introduction wall and have tested gravity a bit, you will continue to the next climbing section, the start of the Wall of Witches. Climb downwards and traverse over exciting small paths right along the mountain. Feel the wind breeze through the fjord while the boats sail past and the eagles fly around. Experience the thrill of climbing with the sea beneath you.

The tour returns where the vertical part of The Wall of Witches starts. You will turn around to climb back up the parts you had climbed down just before, a total different experience again.

You will walk back to Base camp the same way while feeling a sense of accomplishment after an active day outside and under the mighty Hornelen.

This tour has no vertical walls and/or overhanging climbing sections, making it ideal for outdoor enthusiasts without climbing experience, but wanting a slightly longer hike with elements of Via Ferrata, all in 4 hours.

The climbing section itself is graded B on the Via Ferrata scale, which is manageable for most active people. The hiking trail runs in hilly terrain, and is not prepared any more than a normal Norwegian hiking trail.

This guided tour is perfect for sporty friends and/or families looking for a unique hike but also want to climb via ferrata that is not too difficult, though equally fun!
Our skilled guides take care of your safety, so that you can enjoy the activity and the views.
The tour starts at basecamp with around 60 minutes of walking, before climbing for 2 hours before returning on the same path.
