Hestefjellet is one of the most popular mountain tops in the area around Stryn Ski Center. The mountain is easily accessible. It takes about two hours up to the top and offers a number of excellent ski runs. This tour can easily be combined with Natakupa or Karifjellet.
Follow the wide valley of Steindalen from the lift and upwards between the mountains of Hestefjellet and Natakupa. Traverseto the left before reaching the gap, and follow the ridge to the top.
Runs: Start from the cairn and ski across the wide plateau and a small hill in the direction of the ski center. Afterwards its up to you how steep a descent you want. The futher to the right you go, the steeper the descent. Head for the lonely cabin and traverse over to the family slope or keep more
