The Farm Distillery is the artisanal distillery in Nordfjord and is idyllically located at Jørnbruket on the warm and sunny Hauge. The entire process from cultivating raw materials to bottling the finished product happens on the farm.
The Farm Distillery is situated on the sunny and warm Hauge on the north side of Gloppefjorden in Nordfjord. The farm boasts excellent growing conditions for fruits and berries with a tradition of fruit cultivation dating back to the 1800s. The place even has its own historical apple variety. Hauge Apple is a fresh and aromatic apple that the Farm Distillery has grafted trees of and planted to cultivate the apple variety for use in beverages.

Engineers Synnøve and Jann took over the farm's inheritance in 2010 to focus on producing beverages based on agricultural raw materials. It was natural to launch spirits and liqueurs based on fruits and berries as their initial venture. Over the years, the product portfolio has steadily expanded and now includes a wide range of various alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages where quality raw materials take center stage. They use Norwegian ingredients such as apples, plums, raspberries, rhubarb, blackcurrants, redcurrants, strawberries, and cherries. Some of the ingredients they grow themselves. The farm also has a long tradition of vegetable cultivation and grows some of the herbs used in gin and aquavit products themselves. Much of the fruit, berries, and herbs used in the products are also sourced from local producers in the region or harvested from the lush nature of the west coast.
The entire process from raw material treatment to bottling of the finished product takes place on the farm. The Farm Distillery has developed its own methods, processes, and flavors. They have, among other things, developed their own process for small-scale conversion of whey into spirits. In 2019, they launched Norway's first gin based on whey spirits as a tribute to Dagros and Norwegian agriculture. In their latest and wildest project so far, the Farm Distillery is now cultivating sugar beets on the farm, which will be further processed into tasty alcoholic beverages throughout the year. The common denominator for all products at the Farm Distillery is the focus on further processing high-quality Norwegian agricultural products into delightful drinks.
